Limited Sound Bar Wiring

Hello,
I recently got a sound bar and amplifier from a 98 ZJ 5.9 Ltd and wanted to install it in my 5.2 ZJ. However, the amplifiers are of two different system and the connectors are totally different.
I couldn't find the connector wiring diagram from the FSM. Don't know if I was looking into the wrong page.
Can anyone help?

Thanks.

The sound bar and the power amp that went with it are a niner special and not documented by Chrysler very well.

You either need the niner wiring harness or just run custom.

Time to go aftermarket. The two systems are wired totally differently. Running new wire for the sound bar wouldn't be difficult with an aftermarket amp though.

Or you could send that sound bar my way.

I believe I see it in the wiring diagrams section called "limited plus".

What is the difference between Limited Plus, Premium and Basic? My ZJ has Infiniti Gold speakers and an amp that every other ZJ in JY equipped with. Is it the premium or basic?

I did get the whole bundle of wiring and connector of the sound bar from the donor. Just trying to figure out how to splice the 5.9 amp wires with those in my ZJ.

I'm not sure but the limited plus is the 5.9 wiring I believe. The premium is for regular limiteds and the basic is the laredo. I believe what you are looking for is on pages 8W-47-9 and 8W-47-10.

I've looked into doing this to my '96 Laredo with parts from my 5.9 parts truck. It isn't a difficult hack, and the schematics in the FSM are adequate. IIRC, it is an addition of 4 wires, and of course, you need the correct plugs to plug into the 5.9 amp. Get some 5.9 pigtails from the junk yard, and re-pin them to the 5.9 schematic.

Unfortunately, the speaker were busted when I got them. Were they regular speakers or sub woofers? Where can I get replacements.

I am heading out to the JY tomorrow, are there any parts in 5.9 that I should get to upgrade my ZJ?

Skid plates if you can get them. Usually if you see the tow hooks up front they tend to have the plates underneath.

If you can get the front 5.9 grille, that usually sells for a fair price on ebay. I saw some joker out there on craigslist wanting $400 for a used repainted one. pffftt...

If the seats were in stellar order, i would try to get them out if at all possible..

It really depends on what you are willing to pay for; most of the upgrades are just in the skid plates and the sound bar.

edit: Interior door panels were leather bound as well as the shifter up front. If you felt like messing with installing an ATC module into your ZJ, grab the ATC module with about 5-6" of the pigtail, The temp sensor from on top of the dash and I think there is one more solenoid/servo on the HVAC box that needs to go with it as well..

If the door speakers are still good, are they better than those on regular ZJs?

They're the same infinity speakers as in every other infinity equipped ZJ.

I scored 2 Bose 5.25" speakers from JY. Don't know about their resistance. If they are 4 ohms, will they work with the Limited amplifier?
