Lift Kits

Hey guys, I have a 98 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 I6 that already had a lift when I purchased if from a friend of mine. Not quite sure exactly what he has done to it but it's obvious the front springs have spacers. From the looks of things, it appears to be approx. 2" worth of lift. It has 31x10.5 on it.

My question is what options do I have to lift it even more? I've done a little research and any lift kit I find isn't over 4". I've also browsed a few pics on here and seen 6"-7" lifts that look amazing. Any information you guys can give me would be great. Thanks ahead of time

I have the same setup on mine, which I did myself, but I'm going to buy their 3.5 inch kit.
Beware though, the higher you lift it,you will have to install additional parts on it like adjustable trackbars, control arms and sway bar links, just to name a few.

Don't post stupid **** unless you're trying to help.

Depending on his budget, OP can get a better kit than IRO.

Honestly guys it would be a piece by piece ordeal. I'm not looking for the greatest, most expensive parts but then again I don't want the bottom of the barrel, replace after 2 months stuff either.

Even then, a budget would be nice to know. We could recommend the most expensive stuff even if you are piecing it together. If you want to lift it a little bit more, use pucks/spacers. If you want to lift it a lotta bit get a different set of coils. What are your goals for the Jeep? Daily driver, or rock crawler, or mudder? The kits done properly that are 5+" are usually long arm kits.

Have you taken a look at this sticky? http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f13/l...-pics-1089263/

Tons of info on what kits, set ups, etc. members are using to achieve the look/function of their ZJ.

LOL...you're on the same ZJ budget I have. Everytime I've got lift money...WHAM! a 300.00 part breaks on one of my Jeeps....

That 4" Zone kit's pretty nice, the 3.5 IRO one has great feedback too.
