Late night trans problem

Around two a.m. Last night my trans wouldn't shift out of 2nd or 3rd Like the overdrive isn't working.

It does it when it's already warmed up as it was fine when I drove it this morning. But as soon as it got to operating temp it started doing it Again.

Fluid is just fine I checked that already
And I'm getting codes
P0743 torque converter clutch circuit electrical
P0753 shift solenoid a electrical
P1765 manufacturer control

Is my torque converter bad?
Or is it my governor pressure solenoid?

Fluid condition is the first place I go when I have any shifting concerns. When was the last service, and what is the current fluid condition?

Other than that, the codes (based on their names, not definition) I would say point to a solenoid could be bad. Look up the definitions to the codes. Testing solenoids, checking electrical connections, would be my next step.

Some sort of alldata/Mitchell would be a huge help with code diagnostics

Fluids good. I replaced it when I did my radiator last year.

As for filter I'm not sure but p.o. Said the tranny was rebuilt about 2 years ago I've owned it for a year and a half.

My Haynes says
P0743 an open or shorted condition detected in the torque converter part throttle unlock solenoid control circuit.(3 speed auto RH trans. Only)
0753 trans 3-4 shift sol/ trans relay circuits. current state of output port for the solenoid is different from expected state.
1765 trans 12 bolt supply relay ctrl circuit.
Current state of solenoid output port is different than expected.

Does that help?

So crisis possibly averted.

After 3 hours of research I found that I should attempt changing the relays. So I changed the transmission relay and wiper relay and I wasn't put into limp mode.

It confuses me that that relay still worked for the wipers. So maybe it's on it's way out or not good enough.

I will update tonight after work to see if this fixed it.

Oh and would a bad relay throw all these codes?

Yes a bad relay could be the cause of the three codes.

Cool beans. Did very well on my way to work and on my way home. About 10 mile drive on freeway no complaints.
Thanks for the help anyways.
