so for the 3in IRO kit, whats other some good shock options besides what IRO sells? are the bilsteins really worth the premium? how do the bilsteins ride?

glad to see this thread. i was thinking about going the 2.5BB route but now i think i'll pass and go straight to a 3in lift.

good call on the 3" lift, I think you'll be happy. I still think the black diamonds are a great shock for the money! I think the good thing about the doestech's are the bumpstop, that's the reason I got them

I would say just get the kit because it comes with a new track bar and rear sway bar end links. Here is link. http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merch..._Code=IR-W_3LK

You don't have to run the Trackbar at 3", or extended rear endlinks, really. The stock endlinks will severely limit the flex of your rear offroad, tho. You should definitely get quick disconnects for the front swaybar.

Here are Arlo's thoughts on the 3" lift.
3" Lift components:
Personally, I would get this at a minimum for 3" of lift:
Adjustable front trackbar (and rear if you're on a ZJ although less necessary)
Decent Shocks
JKS Quicker Disconnects
Springs of course (or a BB & UC I suppose...)

You'll be able to get away with using the stock rear sway bar end links...

I just installed the 3" kit also with the Dt shocks they are stiff but...

The only other thing I ended up with is more what I might call Darting or Wandering. The Caster is farther off @ 3.5 than I would like to see and might look for Adjustable lower front arms to bring this back to the factory 5.

Everything else is great.......

The addco provides enough resistance to keep me out of my fenderwells. I don't even run them in the rear.
