KJ light bar --> WJ retrofit...

I posted this over there first... but then I thought it might be looked at more over here:

Does anyone know if this is close to possible. I really like the look of the molded libby light bar... I wonder if it is possible to fit it to the WJ roof.

I thought the very same thing the other day, a friend of mine at work bought a new KJ and I was checking out her lights (not those kind ). If I see her this weekend I will be sure to have my tape measure and do some investigating to see it it would even look right, actually where's Joe he could probably hook up a quick photoshop or something. I'll let you know this weekend sometime.

Why? Is putting lights on a roof rack "gay" too? I guess I just don't understand your thinking. I always thought it looked cool... I see lots of Jeeps with lights up-top.

trust me, i used to run a roof rack and 4 lights up top. Its one of those high schooler mods. When you actually get it out on the trails every limb will destroy the lights and the added weight up top sucks. Likewise on the highway lightbars make alot of noise and put up a good wind resistance. Just speaking from experience, save your money.

DSM,

please don't ever open the door for me like that. Your last thread is begging for a couple of one liners.
