Key will not work door lock. '03 GC Laredo.

The drivers door lock will not work with the key. The key goes in fine and turns but the lock doesn't lock or unlock. The key fob works fine. But if my battery goes dead I won't be able to unlock my door.
My window regulator broke so I'm going in this week.
Anybody got a picture or diagram of the key lock mechanism? Part numbers?
Thank you for any help.

2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Best car I've ever owned.

Pull the door panel and check the rod that goes from the key cylinder to the latch on the door. Thts most likely your problem.
