K&n Fipk?

I was wondering if anyone has experience with the K&N FIPK GEN 2? I am looking to get it and was wondering if I will notice any great improvements with the kit over just the regular filter. I heard the overland has a higher flow intake tract to begin with so I was wondering if I could get away with just the filter?

lots of people on this and other boards have them. they are good for 7-10 hp and sound real cool.
