K&n Fipk

Fuel Injection Performance Kit, 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, 5.7L or
347.84ci MPFI MDS. Silver, off road pk., Sirius, splash gaurds, cargo liner.
When I asked has anybody heard when it would be out, that implies must be
NEW. I could ASSume than any model prior to 2005, would already have a FIPK
available, or not produced.
A little intuition can go a long way, didn't realize I needed to be so elementary here.
Now has anyone enquired to K&N to see when the unit will be out?
Open for other suggestions, only experience has been K&N, and all good.

Look man, people ask a lot of stupid questions in here. Intuition only goes so far when 80% of the newbies ask questions that could easily be answered by using the search function. If you notice, most people have the info on their rigs listed in their signatures. This makes it much easier for people to answer questions. There are a lot of new guys who are very likely to ask a question about whether or not a FIPK would be available for an older Jeep.

Also, before you jump on us about not knowing the info on your Jeep with "intuition" just how were we supposed to know what engine you had? WKs come with 3 engines, 3.7 L V6, 4.7 L V8, and 5.7 Liter V8 Hemi and for 06 an 6.1 Liter V8 Hemi. Thats a lot of engines to just know what you had.

And because I am super cool, I'll let you in on a secret.

K&N only makes one for the 3.7L V6.
Airaid might make one for the 5.7L though

Was that elementary enough for you

Just remember that if you put those on without consulting the dealership first, they can and usually will void your warranty. They did it to an 05 Hemi WK here. He has the airaid setup. It's sweet, but he's worried about the motor and tranny warranty being gone.

I really hope you aren't inquiring about this:

baracuda,

you're going to have to explain your thread a lot better. K&N for what? I hope a Grand Cherokee. Which one, ZJ, WJ or WK? Which engine size? Are you up for any other options in regards to a free-flow intake?

I'm closing this. Start over and help us with some details.

It is the users responsibility to know what we are working with. We don't read minds. However, since you reposted the same question with the type of Grand and the size of engine, you got a quick and appropriate replies.

Have a great day.

Hunter

Jim,

I get tons of PMs a day and they all ask the exact same questions that are on the first page of the GC Posts.

You could change your sig to reflect what you have and that would really help when questions come up.
