Yes, you could fit a 32 under the ZJ. The problem occurs when you flex the suspension going in and out of the mall parking lot and the tires rub all over everything and it sounds like your jeep is falling apart. Now, you could trim your front fender and the inside of the fenderwells and they would fit. Make sure to check the backspacing on the rims that your planning on running also.
I had 32s that rubbed on the back of the front fenderwell when the kit was first installed.
A lot of tire fitment issues deal with backspacing and where the front axle is.
