Just Got Build Sheet..Questions

Like it says....i went up to the local Jeep Stealership and got my build sheet. Got a few questions about stuff it says.

1. Its says i have the Quadra-Track On Demand 4wd System. This means i have a 249 right? I see in the FAQ theres the 249 - 242 swap...Whats the advantage?

2.Its says i have "Skid Plate Group" and on the second page it says i have a Fuel tank skid, transfer case skid, and front suspension skid. I see the gas tank skid which is a plate. But on the X case and the front of it, i dont see a plate like i associate being a skid plate. Is it supposed to be an actual plate of metal or is it the long bar just infront of the Xcase and part of the Rad support.

3.It lists it as having a few groups that i have no clue what would be on the car. One is the "Power Equipment Group", and the other is the "Off Road Group", and the "protection group." What are these?

Its a Canadian Spec jeep if it matters much.

Thx Allready

Edit..
Its a 93 Grand Cherokee Larado. I6

1. Yes, quadra trac is the 249. The advantage of swaping to a 242 or 231 is you get rid of the POS 249 and it's regularly failing viscous coupler, and can actually put the Jeep into 2 wheel drive.

2. The tcase skid plate is hard to miss. It attaches to the trans crossmember and left frame rail. It's a large chunk of metal, triangleish in shape, as wide as the xmember and back 18 inches.
The front skid is just below the radiator support, angles down and back about 14 inches or so. If anyone ever put a front hitch on that jeep, they would have had to remove the front skid.

3. Power equip group would be power windows locks and mirrors. Off road group could be the 'up country' suspension...taller/heavier springs and shocks than standard. Protection package is probably undercoating.

As an American Hockey fan and official who has a good deal of respect for my fellow fans and players north of the boarder, I kind of like that, 'eh? Cute.
Serious question, I probably still have both my Jeeps original paperwork, but are there hidden "Broadcast Sheets" on newer Mopars like ours, much like on the older ones from the 70's. I found at least 2 of them on my '72 Dart years ago while preparing it for a restore. On the older Mopars these were frequently under or behind the seats in the springs, behind the glovebox liner or under the carpets. I got lucky and found them all over. It's a great thing to have. Broadcast sheet were done by codes and so you needed a decoder book to know what all the codes meant, but it tells just how your car should have been put together and with what optional parts. On the older side of the hobby there are a good number of documented cases of cars not getting the right parts that were spec'ed out for it on it's broadcast sheet. 1970's big three assembly line quality control I guess. Just another name for a build sheet pretty much. Thanks much...

Off road group is probably just another reference to the skids. I just got my build sheet and several things (like engine and skids) are mention in more than one place. If you have the "Up Country Suspension" is should be clearly stated. Here's a piece of my build sheet showing it:

ARGS - Overland Decor Group
ATCS - Radio-CD/Cass/10 Disc/Infinity Spkrs
AWBS - Quadra-Drive 4WD System
AWES - Up Country Suspension Group
A83P - 4.7LHO Eng(EVC)/5spdA/T 5-45Rfe(DGQ)
BAZS - 136 Amp Alternator
