just finished 247 to 242HD swap, now having shifting problems

so i just finally finished my tc swap in my 04 wj.
i also installed the new select trac shifter.

now for some reason, i cant seem to get the shifter working with the transfer case. when i go under the jeep and manually shift it, it works great. but when i try using the shifter, it doesnt work. it just binds and doesnt wanna move without alot of force. ive been tryin to adjust the eyelet that connects the shift cable to the shifter itself, but that doesnt seem to be doing it. what could be the problem here???

You have to change the linkage position on the transfer case from top (247) to bottom hole (242). If you didn't, it will not shift properly with input from the shifter. It's mentioned in both of the popular write-ups out there for this swap.
