Junk yard-what to get ?

I'm heading to the u-pull it bone yard to hopefully get some 703 injectors from a stratus or neon.

What else should I be looking to pick up for a basically stock ZJ ?

If you don't have it already get some of that wood grain, it looks so much nicer than the black. Maybe factory skid plates too.

Well, what I would do it scavenge through the Jeep section and look for anything that is interesting. If you are into recovery points look for front tow hooks (get all brackets and hardware) rear receiver would come in handy for recovery or trailer towing. Lift kit, accessories, bumpers etc... Always try to look under the rear seat cushion/cubby's as these can be forgotten by the owner or others, I have scored jumper cables, tool kits, tow straps, hooks, d-rings etc...

Upgrade

There's nothing wrong, per say, with the stock injectors but the 703' are an upgrade with a 4 hole spray pattern. According to those that have done it, they get more power and slightly better gas mileage due to the atomization of gas molecules.

If it doesnt have one already, look for and automatic dimming rear view mirror. They are all wired for it, but not all are equipped.

I just swapped the 703s in my 4.0 mpg went up about .3 in the city and it is ALOT smoother. Also I have noticed that the jeep seems to have a nice difference in the pick up and go

It has a button on bottom with a green LED. When The LED is lit, the mirror auto dims, except in reverse.

You cant actually see it dimming. It just moves the reflector on its own based on photocells within the mirror

There are photocells on front and back, try cleaning them. If the light is on you have power.
