jumping the zj
how bad is it to keep jump starting my zj by putting a screw driver on the starter contacts? ive tried everything to fix my ignition system but its the wiring so ive decided to start it this way for now. will it damage the starter? or the engine from it engaging so violently?

Have you checked your ignition switch? I had to jump my jeep for 2 weeks a few months back because that damn switch went out.
