JKS front trackbar>=< Rustys trackbar

Just wondering which trackbar is better. I ordered the JKS thru Kolak, and i bought a rustys trackbar with drop bracket a month ago and he just decided to ship it because paypal froze his account. Im just wondering which one i should sell. Im leaning towards selling rustys because i already run jks rear and im happy with it but rustys comes with the bracket and i think a different joint. any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks ~Jason

JKS is just about the most beef thing I have ever seen. I'd recomend this over anything, because nothing can come close to this one!

is it necessary or feasable to use kevins bracket he has for the jks trackbar, i dont know if it uses a different bushing or end. I just want this trackbar to be stable and stout against DW.

I mean you can use it if you'd like...the bracket enables you to use the rear JKS trackbar up front or something like that....

I'd just get the JKS front and rear trackbars from Kolak and call it a day.

Sell or return the Rusty's bar AND bracket.

I think you are asking if you can use the ZJ JKS bar with Kevin's bracket, the answer is no. The KOR track-bar conversion has a horizontal mount (like the WJ) of the bushing at the uni-body end. The stock ZJ (and XJ and TJ) have the vertical mount.

Kevin has a JKS bar made to fit his trackbar conversion. I highly recommend it.

Both trackbars arrived today. Kolaks part came packaged neat and clean from jks and my private sellers package had to be shaken up to see if the rats had already left thru their hole. I have to say I am sticking with the JKS. The bushings are pure beef and i can grease the bushings easier than the rustys. Im not a fan of the heim setup on the rustys. looks like it could get noisy with no grease fittings. The weight difference is pretty big. rustys might have more beef. Rustys bar weighed 12lbs with no bracket while JKS weighed 9lbs. They have the same outer diameter but i think rustys puts a bit more beef into his inner. They are both great looking trackbars and if i was worried about bending the trackbar i would go with the rustys but im going for ride comfort as well as beef so i will be sticking with JKS.

That bracket that Rusty's looks rather limp to say the least. And the heim doesn't look like a quality unit either.

Stick with the JKS and you will be happy.

Heavy does not always mean stronger. Ive hammered the JKS into rocks and such and I have yet to see any signs of it giving in. Its made of some sort of heavy grade material. You will be very impressed with it.

well i think i broke my thumb again installing my rear trackbar but other than my damn rear trackbar bracket welding itself with rust and about a hour and a half to get it off im very happy with them. It took the loose clunking feeling when hitting bumps on the highway. The front end felt like it was going to fall out . Im getting a new exhaust in the next 2 weeks so i will be fixing this but the rear trackbar rubs like hell on my exhaust pipe

i broke my only t55 socket with my damn breaker bar. so i used a allen socket that fit and threw the air hammer on it. still no go so i tried to drill it out, no go, grinded the head off still no go. beat the hell out of it with the BFH i could see the outline of the stud but when i tried to poke it thru with a hammer and lineup tool it wouldnt budge. I took the air hammer to it still no go. i had to tear the ******* bracket off with a crowbar, air hammer, sawzall and weld the biotch back on.

Wow....That sucks. I just cut the head off, took off the control arm, then hammered the nut and bolt out the back. Then I used a grade 8 bolt and nut and stuff to put it back on. Only problem is I have to take the CA off everytime I have to take off my trackbar, but oh well.
