For the ZJ, there are much better options then JK Rubicon Axles. You can get a bolt in D44 for the front that is the same width that sells for less. And for the rear, you could go with a Ford 8.8, get a selectable locker and go with a Super 88 kit and you would have as strong as an axle for less.

The long arms I am really excited about though.

Why do you need 3/16" spacers ?

Didn't Ken say something about having D60 knuckles swapped onto it in place of the D30 ones ? I didn't see anything about that...if that was part of the package that would make a bit more sense of the cost.

The amount they charge for the fabrication/bracketry seems to be a bit high.

I am also curious to another thing, they never say anything about moving the spring perches...i wonder if they just use the factory locations that the JK used ?

Already ordered and I'll be running up there in March for the install, I'll be getting both front and rear installed with the new hi clearance LA's and all the goodies. Looking forward to getting these in and testing them out, they will be put through the paces at GSMW 08.

5.5" lift required to run their setup, btw
Even for this kit? Read the last para:

ULTIMATE KIT

Consider all of the above will cost you about $2550.00. Then consider 1 complete package with all of this for $2299.99! Again, look around for another kit that will give you all of this at a price even close to the deal you'll get here.

1. JK Rubicon Dana 44 rear axle
2. JK bracketry removed
3. WJ bracketry fully welded
4. Includes lower control arms
5. Includes brake hoses and hard lines
6. Includes wiring
7. Includes new pinion yoke for 1310 U-joint

Important note: You can run this axle with any lift height (even no lift at all!) These axles are built to order. Please allow 3 weeks to ship.

Yea, I've been working with them for awhile on this deal, and now they are ready. It was just a matter of time for me to be able to get off work for the trip up there, it's about 10 hours from here. There are reasons i'm driving up there instead of just having them shipped, but I can't mention them here at this time.

Its the same knuckle as found on a WJ. Its a stronger knuckle than you'll find on a TJ/XJ/ZJ and it has a much better brakes with the 2 piston calipers.

I'd say there's really no such thing as a D30 knuckle because there are so many different knuckles used on the different D30 axles.

I would think the hub is different. The outer axle shaft is 32 spline. I don't know of any D30 that has a 32 spline hub.

It has bigger u-joints than a D30 too which is another common failure. And don't forget, the later model D30s use a D44 u-joint so the JK 44 actually has a bigger u-joint than any other D44. It uses a 1350 sized u-joint.

It gets confusing when you start saying D30 outers, knuckles, ball joints, etc. because these are not the parts that identify an axle. Its the ring gear size that determines the axle name and even then there's some variations. The JK D44s have bigger ring and pinion gears than other D44s. Clear as mud, right?
