sorry, but very few here are going to "throw" plans at you, you need to do research and find some examples of what you want ppl here will help you design it, but rarely will someone do something for nothing.

get some ideas and come back we will be here; just make sure you search and think through your question before you post it

Just measure it yourself and base your ideas of that.

I'm a machinist and wielder... I'm looking to make my own bumper and probably sell a couple for material cost.. but I can't find any pix of what the insides look like. I mean like wench mount and such, I know it would be dropped down some. and pix of other support beams.. If anyone has pix they want to post of the back side that would be much appreciated.. By the looks of the bumpers on the market it looks like several plates wielded to together, which should be cake work to get the angles you want and such with my cnc mill.

Dude, you're a machinist and welder and you don't know how to use a tape measure?

Im not 100% positive but I think it is 2x4 rectangular tubing that is basically a perfect fit inside the front end of the unibody rails up front. That would be a good place to start for a good mounting point.

Cut pieces out of cardboard and tape them together to get your sizes and angles for the pieces you need to make the bumper how you want and then take the cardboard pieces apart and use them as template to cut the metal pieces and weld them together to make your bumper.

Let me get this straight.. so you're looking at people giving you ideas and measurements how to build your own bumper, and you're then thinking of fabbing a few and selling them? That's not too good of a deal for the guys/ girls giving you info

Just measure and use cardboard for your own ideas, go on from there. Fabbing a bumper isn't rocket science. There are lots of pictures around here, NAGCA, NAXJA (yeah, XJ bumpers don't much differ from ZJ stuff), on how people have designed their bumpers. Not trying to be a dickhead here, but just think about what you're asking..

Just buy the plans like I did http://www.flatland4x4.com/ Anyone that can weld can build these for cheap, I'm in them for about $250 front and rear but I'll have probably 15 hours of labor in them.

I mean like if someone who helped me wanted a different one or knew how the supports went.. But yes. I did buy the plans. Having seen it on paper it looks really easy. And it's only the two places it attaches to the body. I though they would've have support in other areas, that's what I wanted to know.. The measuring part is simple. And the angles.

Just like on the XJ bumpers, I would try to include as many mounting points as possible for the bumper. The uniframe isn't the strongest one ever produced
