The Jeep - Still Lives

Yes, I know its been a while. Sorry guys - life hits fast, right? I've been hella busy this year with school and work. Speaking of work, I got this fancy Engineering internship that's been keepin me busy... and its also out of town - which means COMMUTES IN THE JEEP.

Yea, lets see here - 12wks of work, I'm living in Columbus Ga (100 miles from my house) with family. I work in LaGrange Ga, ~50 miles from Columbus. I drive from Home (Macon) to Columbus about 2x every weekend (though there are those weekends I don't make it home). Then, I drive between work and Columbus 2x a day (5 days a week). Oh, and then there's all those other trips I've taken (several to Atlanta, Auburn, and Deep-South-Georgia). By the time this is all said and done (the end of this week), the Jeep will have seen around 7000 summer miles. On 32s. Lets not talk about my fuel bill...

But I'm here to brag on ye ole jeep - its been a happy camper the whole way! The only trouble I've had was a dying water pump at the beginning of the summer (you start to get concerned when you get to work and discover a steady drip of coolant). However, the Haynes manual, 5 hours of work, $40, and a lot of sweat fixed that problem in a hurry.

Oh yea, and I (finally) lost my "bumper" after a little woodsy trip... but hey, I'm still happy!

Here's to happy jeepin!

~Matt

Here I thought you were dead.

Good to have you back, even if it's only for a minute.

Let's not talk about my fuel bill from AZ to AK pulling over 3000 lbs on a trailer.
