Jeep Starting To Randomly Stall, Buck and Heaitate

About 2 weeks ago my Jeep stalled coming to a stop light didn't think much of it. Now since that first time, it is starting to die/stall more and more.

Sometimes when coming taking from a stop sign it'll hesitate or buck. I have now CEL so it's not misfiring...

What could possibly be doing this? Tonight sitting in a parking lot, Jeep just shut off for no reason. I started it back up ran for 3 seconds then died again...

Possible causes:
Bad injector - been running 703s since 7/2012

Tune Up- currently running Kolak's ignition set up (MSD ignition cool, magnecore wires, autolite plugs cap/rotor can't remember the name)

Bad fuel filter/pump- fuel filter is inside the fuel tank. Maybe it's clogged? Fuel pump starting to go out

Dirty IAC- clean at least twice a year

So what else can be causing my random stalking, hesitating and bucking??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Not only did my tps cause this before. My transmission oil coolant hose started leaking. After the transmission lost so much fluid it started doing the same thing yours is i changed my transmission filter, fluid ,and replaced the coolant hose and its has been fine for nearly two years now

Could really be a lot of things including TPS, upstream oxygen sensor, PCM or fuel pump. Have you checked fuel pressure at the rail? Unplugged the upstream o2 and went for a drive? Voltmeter on the TPS? Wiggle the three PCM harnesses while idling?

Sorry my laptop has been borrow by someone with out asking me. So im not able to look at profiles on my phone. What year and model do you have?.....jason is correct it has symptoms for everything he named and more. But most of the time those issues throw codes. Which cause a cel. Unless its a bad connection with the pcm, or faulty wiring to or from a sensor. Which can cause a short temporarily killing power to your pcm explaining why you have no check engine light. Have you made sure your cel comes on then shuts off after turning the ignition on like it should. To make sure the cel isn't blown?

Not sure how there were duplicate threads posted 2 min apart and here's the other one where it was the IAC while the original poster's (torchd) problem's are now fixed.

What the heck.. Didn't even see this thread. Had no idea a duplicate was even posted.

Thanks for updating this. Yes my IAC was the problem. Replaced the IAC and no more issues at all.

YW and if posted by phone you may have just not seen another thread was posted 2 min earlier.

Regardless, glad you found the problem and it's now fixed!

BTW, I may have to look at replacing my IAC at some point since my rpm's tends to go up/down at idle. But this goes away once warmed up, it doesn't stall, the IAC tests good, and this started about the time I installed new 703's.

Mine does the same. What would be best to clean the iac with? Or would it be better to just replace it?

Yes, when I made the thread originally, I posted it from my iPhone.

In all honesty, I would replace the IAC rather then cleaning it. I've cleaned mine many times, maybe this one time I did something wrong and wreaked havoc on me for a couple of days.

The IAC port and throttle body still need cleaning, even when replacing the IAC itself. I'm always amazed at just how much junk is in there each time I clean it.

I should have mentioned that. The day I seafoamed my motor and cleaned my IAC, I also cleaned my TB as well.
