Jeep pops when warming up ?

I dont think i remember my 5.9 poping like this while warming.. I cant tell where its coming from... It doesnt do it when its totally warmed up only when cold. Is it just metal expanding or does this sound like a mini backfire to you ? Like every 10 seconds itll make a ting noise. I have a recorded video if youd like to hear it

Started doing this shortly after i fixed my plenum on my intake manifold.

take a look at your belt tensioner... if you see it twitch when it makes that noise then something is causing the belt to drag (i had a 96 1500 5.9 that did something similar when the water pump was on it's way out)

My 5.9 does that same EXACT! poping noise, I just bought it and was changing fluids and cleaning up engine bay and noticed the poping saound like ever 25-30 seconds like yours, I passed it off as expansion.

Weird... It never used to do that before i took off my intake manifold and replaced the gasket/pan ect.. Oh well, it doesnt do it when fully warmed up but i thought it was wierd as i have never had it do that before.

Does yours do it only when its cold and warming up ?

At first I thought it was your a/c compressor kicking on and off but if it goes away when it warms up so I'm stumped.
