Jeep Noob, Some questions on purchasing

I'm in the market for an SUV and have always liked the Jeep Grand Cherokee. I would probably be looking at a 04 or 03 model I6 4X4.

How is quality, did they have most problems worked out by 03 and 04?

What kind of miles can I expect to have on the vehicle before starts falling apart??

Power and drive train quality?

What kind of gas mileage do you guys experience?

Highway travel, are they stable at high speeds. I have heard of some problems with this issue.

Can anyone answer my second question; I couldn’t find much info on general longevity on that web site.

Im not sure about the WJ's since they havent been around too terribly long but alot of people with ZJ's have over 150,000 miles on them and counting.

The WJ has been documented going 188,000 miles pretty much problem free. This was on the 4.7L V8. But we all know the 4.0 is a stong motor!
