The Jeep LIVES!!!
Got my Jeep put back together today!!! Did it right this time too. Cleaned the lifters, new pushrods (bent a few during disassembly), 4.6L injector swap, new head bolts, new TPS, cleaned entire intake manifold & throttle body, new gaskets all around, new sparkplugs. Took her out for a test run today, she's runnin super smooooooooth! I'm as chipper as can be Only thing is though, my temp gauge is acting goofy. Reads up around 230 deg's and bounces up to 240 deg's. It didn't work since the last time I blew the head gasket... Calibration maybe??? It doesn't seem to be overheating though and there's no coolant smell or leaks. Anyway, I'm happy she's back on the road. A million thanks to everyone that helped me along the way!!! If it wasn't for you guys I prolly would have scrapped it and been wasting money on this stupid minivan!

Did you replace the temp sending unit?

I replaced the one in the cylinder head. The one in the thermostat housing was replaced this last summer. Don't remember when the one in the intake mani was done. Are these easily fried?
