jeep backfire through exhaust 5.9

couple days i am driving down the interstate and i here my jeep backfire hmm strange so i get to my brothers house about a mile down the road and i see my jeep threw some codes po331 and po172 have searched and found a few different causes wanted to see if anyone here will confirm or deni the issues

If it were on my car, I would test the knock sensor to see if it is indeed faulty (work on the p0331 code). It is possible that a faulty knock sensor caused some erratic behavior through the PCM, setting the p0172 code and the fire in the exhaust.
