Jeep 1.0 said goodbye today... RIP

Wife was driving the jeep today and got t boned by a dodge neon which flipped the jeep over on its top.

It was the worst feeling as I went to a fellow pepboys to pick up a part for my guys, and when I leave I come across a vehicle overturned but due to the sun setting I cant make out what kind of vehicle it is until I get right up to it.

All I thought was "Where's my son?, where's my son?" Thank god he was with other family at this time.

Time to start the jeep 2.0

Well here are the pics:

At least it looked like it did its job and protected the driver.

Holy crap! Hope she's ok, can just imagine what the neon looks like.
Where the heck did it impact, i see nothing on either side that indicates a T-bone.
In front of the law offices blg, how appropriate.

Only thing I can think of is that the Neon was like a wedge and scooped it up and over. Glad everyone was okay, Jeep looks like it took it pretty well.

What it looks like from the skid marks was that the guy tried to stop but hit the passenger side wheel as she was turning left swinging my jeep around skidding the tires against the tarmac, where it then caught and flipped the jeep over to its side and then its roof.

It looks like this neon hit it just right to flip my jeep. And the neon drove away after.

I will say this though, my jeep held up admirably through the fact that it landed on its roof.

And I gotta say WOW I had a lot of crap in the jeep it seemed like everything evacuated itself from my jeep including all of my tools. This is a good reason why all of us should fasten our tool boxes to the floor so nothing gets tossed around in a roll over.

I've been trying my best to fit everything under the back seat
There's actually a lot of room there

not to poke fun at all, because if this was me I would be crying like mad that I lost my baby (and in your case, potentially you wife as well)... but a dodge neon? thats like Rambo getting shot by a BB gun.

But in all seriousness, my condolences. Glad everyone is OK, and hope that your next Jeep will be even better than the first!

2.0... Nope... Time for 1.1 From what I seen you could cut it ALL off at the window line, Cage it and get a Wrangler Front Glass. Would be Sweet with a 'soft top' or Bikini on it as well :P

No airbags?

And the neon hit her and drove away? As in hit and run? Or as in sustained little enough damage to be able to drive away from the scene of the wreck?
