JCR's HD steering box spacer

I installed one of these on a customers XJ when I swapped in a new box, and remember thinking I should grab one for the ZJ.

Anyone installed one, or know any reason it wouldn't be compatible in a ZJ?

Why would you need a steering gear spacer?

The spacers are known to get brittle and fall apart when box is removed, I was planning to install one when I rebuild my steering box.

But, now you have me wondering if the ZJ has one? is that what your insinuating?

There is no spacer there. Just the steering box bolted to the unibody with 3 bolts, at lest on the v8 anyway.

xj boxes are known to crak the uniframe where they mount. zjs have a doubled up backing plate from the factory, a steering box brace is a good idea though
