issue with O2 sensor

i was throwing a code and the jeep would *load* up. like an old carbed motor. so i unplugeed the o2.... ran fine. bought new o2 replaced.... and now it does it again with no SES light. its normally if im at low speed -20 and steady throttle. and just like a carb if you floor it for a second itll clear itself out....

any ideas guys?

Did you buy a Mopar or NTK branded O2 sensor? The PCM is picky about aftermarket sensors. After swapping the sensor, did you unhook the battery for several minutes so the computer can re-learn the newly installed sensor?

X2 on the NTK or Mopar. The Bosche should run it, but the technical specs are different than OEM. But before you replace it, what is the condition of the rest of the engine? Are you assuming or do you know that it is running rich? Smoke? Should have a lot to make it bog like that.

Check fuel pressure, when is last time you tuned it up? What have you done besides replace O2?

i dont have the money to just replace a 60 dollar sensor for the oooo this might work. tune and all has been done less then 6 months ago. tonight im pulling the plugs to see if they are trashed or what.

i never said it was running rich. just said it was acting the same way an olded carbd motor would run when it loaded up. then you stand on the gas for a second and it clears out.

i just had the SES light come on today heading into work so tonight im gonna pull it and see what code it tripped

and ive done alot but nothing changed after doing things. the last thing i did was a throttle body spacer and that was over a month ago and it ran perfectly fine. the last time it did this before here lately was right after i swapped the motor from my other jeep and i realized the O2 sensor was bad and now its doing it all the time

I guess i don't understand what you mean by "loading up". I took it to mean it was loading up on fuel at low RPMs and "clear out" the extra fuel when you kick it. The "clearing out" part is baffling to me if your not clearing out fuel.

Is the problem hesitation before rapid acceleration?

The CEL is on because of the crap Bosche O2 sensor, I put one on my old Jeep and it was dead within a week. You should only be using NTK or Mopar O2 sensors. What plugs do you have in there now?

basically if you hold the pedal at a steady amount of throttle itll act like it wants to stall out. ill see if i can video tape it with my phone
