Iron Rock Lift ?'s Please Help!!!!!!!

OK i have a 2002 WJ, I6, NV-247 (TC) (I want the 242 but that will come later)

1st
I know I have the weird model that has the I6 and the 247 T-case and I'm wondering how my jeep is going to react from a 4" lift and 32 Tires?w

2nd
The lifts I'm looking at are the (IR-W4CPK) WJ 4" Critical Path Long Arm Lift Kit from Iron Rock or the (IR-W_4LK) WJ 4" Lift Kit. I drive off road all the time but not much into rock crawling. Should I get the Long Arm kit anyways?

I guess my biggest worry is i don't think my jeep is going to have any power and i drive it everywhere! I put almost 30,000 miles on it and I've owned it for a year! And i drive about 75 - 80. I don't want to put it on and have to drive 55 everywhere I go. I know its a Jeep not meant to do 80 but its all i have. My family lives 300 miles away and i go home one or 2 times a month.

Any input on what i should do and on the Iron Rock lift's would be great. Oh and the tires i want to put on would be the Goodyear Wrangler MT/R (285/75R16)

Your jeep will be fine with that amount of lift.

If you can afford the long arms then yes, you should get the long arms. Ride quality on long arms is far superior to short arms and since you drive it all the time you may want to look into them.

I can tell you from experience that going 80 in a lifted vehicle is not the safest thing in the world. If you drive around 70 mph you should be fine. As for the performance of you jeep, you will need to regear your axles to either 4.10 or 4.56.

My answers are in red.

And you fit 33s, but be prepared to extend your bumpstops and get ready to trim.

And definitely go to 4.56 with 33s.

Thanks for the Help! I'm sure i can handle 70. As far as the re gearing my axles that is something i hadn't thought about. I will have to look into that more. what would be better? the 4.10 or 4.56? I understand what the different gearing does but can some one explain to me the difference of the 4.10 and 4.56?

4.56 gears will make the 33's feel like stock tires with 3.73 gears and will get your powerband back to stock speeds. 4.10's is just about right for 32's for the same reasons.

This isn't exactly accurate but close enough to give you an idea.
