IRO or RC 3.5" lift?

Ok I need some input between the two lifts. I know a lot of people on here use IRO, but at the same time, a lot of you guys use RC as well. Besides the price, I can't see much difference between the two. I come from the school of thought that "You get what you pay for", and $50 doesn't seem like much of a difference, but someone on here could prove me wrong. Why is the IRO lift more expensive? Is it that much better than the RC lift?

I don't have any experience with the RC lift, but I do have a full IRO 3.5'' lift. I used both front and rear springs, all 8 adjustable control arms, front and rear track bars and all the miscellaneous parts that come with the lift kit.

I couldnt of been happier with the quality of the lift kit, all the parts have held up very well, performed well, and fit well.

Just search and find all the people who buy the RC and then have to upgrade a bunch of parts or switch to other companies parts after a while.

Everyone I know thats ever used a RC lift changed more then half the kit out after a while. The springs get weak and sag while IRO has a Lifetime no sag guarantee on there springs! Do yourself and your Jeep a favor and get an IRO lift.

Did you check out the Rubicon Express 3.5 lift?

It's all in what you like and can afford. As long as you like it and can afford to build it and wheel it afterwards, that's all that counts.

Hunter, I would get that one, but ~$500 is my limit. I can always add parts and beef up later on as my budget expands, but that one just costs too much for me right now. Looks solid as a rock, though.

The IRO kit comes with a front adjustable trackbar. The RC kit has instructions on how to drill a hole for your stock trackbar.

A double sheer solid track bar on top of it!!!

On a side note, my RE super flex had a weak hollow jobbie that I mangled and got hung up during passenger side flex.

Really it takes 2 seconds to look it up than to have someone type it all out to you. On the website there is a list of what you get.

That's what I thought was included. Do we just re-use the rear springs, or is there we do the F>R spring swap? New IRO springs up front and OEM front springs go to the rear?

There is an option to add the rear coils which is what I would do. No more front to rear swaps for me.
