Looks like a decent tread...but have not seen them in action or heard of anyone elses experience with them

You do realize you can email one of the bighorn sellers and they will post a auction for the bighorns in 285/70R17 if you want?

Since your getting 17's, get some 17x8" rims and pick up a set of 305/70R17's and tell me how they are on the highway without a regear (MT/R's and Bighorns come in that size 34x12.2")

I've actually been considering that. I've already got a 17x8 with 4'' of BS. And I'm planning a regear anyway. I'm just worried about fitment.

You guys think I should trade the 6.5'' springs for the 5.5''? It will just save me a world of problems to be honest with you.

What problems do you have now ? If you don't have narly vibrations now then you're fine...

The worse thing that could happen is that when you flex out and have the driver side max drooped and get heavy on the throttle you could snap the DS, but that can happen to any of us...

The reason why I didnt go to 6.5" is cus I know I would have got the vibes and I want to keep my COG as low as possible. As for fitment, do the propper amount of trimming and bumpstops and you should be good to go. The only concern I have is the regear.

I still have a grinding noise when deccelerating from about 50 to 47, and I have my caster adjusted all the way forward, so there is no more fixing it. Granted, it's an EXTREMELY faint noise but it's there. It could also be the tires I have on too.

I sold my 32s and the guy that bought just gave me his old tires to roll around on for a bit. They are stock size, and they are worn as ****. So it could be the tires too, but the noise isn't there under acceleration, or under any other speed.

I just called a couple of the sellers, and emailed one. None of the people I called picked up, oh well.

And as for COG, thats another reason why going to 5.5'' would be a good idea for me. Shes a little tipsy right now.

Wait till you get into some narly off camber stuff if you think she's a little tips on the road

Are you really complaining about a noise that you hear only from 50-47 ?

IMO thats as good as its going to get, what is your drive shaft and pinion angle at ? I'm just curious for my own benefit...

If you put on some armor it should sag down a little bit, but you'll still be around 6" but at least you wont need to shove pucks on it after you do bumpers/winch what not.

Yea, I'm really complaining about that noise, lol. I'm just worried about grenading my differential or T-case.

Couldn't tell ya the angles, I don't have a gauge. Instead I've just been adjusting and then testing to get it to where it is now. Your right though, there isn't enough adjustment in the UCA. I need to go forward a bit more.

Thing is, I could exchange the springs so easily.

Bighorns in the 285/70/17 flavor are on backorder for all vendors for an indefinate amount of time. Thats why I couldn't find them from any of the ebay vendors.

I finally got ahold of one of the ebay vendors and this is what he told me.

Sucks cause that was really the only M/T I wanted... I think I might go with an A/T anyway...

You can find them other places. Not sure about sizes either.
