If you are willing to shell out the $, I highly recommend Toyo Open Country MT's...I have seen them in action on alot of the Sira guys rigs, and they perform amazing in our region and are still very streetable...

I've been shopping around and I honestly think I might end up with the coopers again as my tire guy will basically have them mounted/balanced on rims for about $ 15 more than the bighorns.

However I may need to buy a new front double carden DS so that will put the kaebosh on tires

P.S. Ramon doesn't know what mud is...

Well, they adjusted it, and it got alot better. I no longer get vibrations while accelerating, even up to around 65. I didn't get a chance to go much faster. It has a very, very slight noise while deccelerating between 60 and 50. However, I can still go forward a bit more with the pinion. My adjuster thingamajig is set at what Kevin's is in his first pic of it.

Nick, I'm surprised you have vibrations at all at 5.5''. Especially since I'm pretty sure you already bought the aftermarket DS right?

I'm just not comfortable with the vibes, and I want them gone. I'm thinkin I might go down to 5.5''. It'll avoid alot of problems and help out on the wallet in alot of other areas as well.

BTW, I think I'm gonna go with A/Ts. I've been keepin an eye out for Bighorns and there aren't any available right now. Plus, I'm worried about streetability as well because this is still my DD.

Get MT's yu noob, they're so much better than AT's when you start doing more serious stuff.

I'm only at 5" with the tcase drop stock shafts...I have to do some tinkering though. I need to get on it soon suppose to go wheeling this weekend

On the drive home the sounds were almost non existent. Only when deccelerating from 50 mph to about 47 could I hear them. I think a little more positive caster and it might be gone. I am really debating on whether or not I should go down to 5.5 or stay at 6.5.

Anyone want to trade some 5.5 springs for 6.5?

You gonna be able to get the DS before this weekend? That's pretty quick. You oughta see if you could pick up a stock double cardan shaft from another WJ to last until you can get the replacement.

And about the M/Ts, I just can't make up my effin mind. I want the performance, but I also want the comfort. And, Bighorns aren't even able right now.

I don't understand the left LCA. Why does it have a piece that goes up?\

Edit: Nevermind, read the thread.. No UCAs?? Wow. So the angle of the axle is controlled solely by that left control arm?

Im of the mind, get a great AT, save some dough and get something for off roading. I am on road 90% and local areas are slim to none. I am looking at getting some wheels and tires to swap on before the rocks.

expensive yes, but wtf, I dump $$$ into this big time, and tires are one of the drainers
