IRO 3.5" spring swap ZJ lift kit pics and review?
So i think I have decided on the IRO 3.5" spring swap lift for my 96 grand cherokee I6. Anybody who has done this lift, if yall could post some pics and let me know how you liked it and also any things i should know before gettin it thatd be awesome. Also, if my I6 springs would lift it even or if I'll need some coil spacers, and if I should run 31s or 32s with a little trimming. I only found one thread like this but it didnt have much info or pics and i think it was closed so ill try once more. Sorry if it annoys anyone. But thanks so much to anyone who posts pics or info.

I put 3/4" spacers in back (V8 front coils) and it's still a little bit low. No one else seems to have that problem though
My 31's are awful close to the front of the rear wheelwell, but I think you could trim a little for 32's if you wanted. You also need aftermarket rims with less (more?) backspacing, or wheel spacers.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Have you taken the time to pm the owners of said kit and learn the pros and cons of it?

I'd go through the Lifted ZJ pics and not just settle for the IRO kit ones. Check them all out to see if you might have missed something or if something else catches your eye.

Please don't get into the mindset that cheap and great quality go hand in hand. I've run the Rubicon Express kit since 99. I would look at:
www.ironrockoffroad.com www.rubiconexpress.com www.kevinsoffroad.com www.tomken.com and http://www.tntcustoms.com/treks_home.asp These companies have proven suspension systems that have been wheeled all over the US and not just the company's proving grounds. Hunter

thanks, but i dont think cheap and quality go hand in hand, i just phrased my post wrong. Ive looked around and asked questions and thats when i came to the IRO lift. Its a complete and fairly "inexpensive" kit that i have heard good things about and have heard that IRO is a good company. as you said too. i appreciate you lookin out for me and makin sure i dont go wrong anywhere, as im just learnin.

You don't need *any* lift to fit 31"s. All you need to do is trim the front bumper cover; they fit fine.
