ipod interface. does it work with factory stereo.

has anybody tried to install an ipod interface kit with the factory stereo?

i am looking at a JVC KS-PD 100 kit and wondering if it will work.

any other suggestions??

Installed this USA Spec iPod Interface in my 99 Grand Cherokee. Works awesome with the factory radio. The only catch is that you must have outputs to a cd changer because that is where it plugs in. Unfortunately, you can't use the changer anymore.

No regrets with my install--I love it.

Once you start using an ipod … you mainly quite using CDs, therefore there is very little sacrifice.
It's one of the top five upgrades to any vehicle IMO
