I just bought a 5.9 last month, love it, but notice a whinning coming from front end. Seems to happen when I am on the interstate and let off the accelerator. Anyone have any advice and/or experience with this?
I think the problem might be that FIPK2 that you have, I have one on my 1994 ZJ I6, but the I6 is naturally loud so i dont here the FIPK whine, but they tend to do so under those conditions
i got the same problem. The previous owner was a chrysler tech and took it aprt wokred on it and just seems to be it. If you find a way to fix it tell me.
It sounds like you guys are have front ring and pinion whinning. Not so good news.
