Intermittent Wiper Module?
So i am still having this problem with my windshield wipers.. only high speed works. I still have not tried to replace the BCM because I see that my repair manual (and a friendly mechanic) informed me that the 99 Grand Cherokee has an intermittent wiper module. It is either located underneath the windshield wiper cowl, or behind the kneeplate inside. Much to my dismay i can not locate it in either place, am i looking in the wrong place or am i just not seeing it when it is right in front of my eyes?

I know where it is located on a ZJ but not a WJ. If you need to buy one, I actually found the lowest price on Amazon.com. It might be different for a WJ though.

the module can be repaired in some cases. One of the wires in the circuit board burns out in the module. You just need to bypass the bad lead. I repaired mine and it works like a charm. I dont have the link for it but it is on this board. You need somone kind enough to do a search for you! zj it is located in the kick pannel.

i found that its located on the rear of the junction box. it would be nice if i could just repair the module... a new one from the dealership costs $406.00!!! did not find one on amazon or ebay... if you know of anywhere else to get it cheaper please let me know.

I think the reason it is so expense is because on the ZJ it only controls the wiper, but on the WJ it controls someother stuff too. If you have the part number it helps alot.
