Interest in a beefy 44a cover

Please send me a PM/Post if you would be interested in a heavy duty cover for your 44a, one of the vendors in my club is trying to find out if there would be enough interest to produce some. They would run about the cost of a nice dinner out with a girl - I will post up pics of what it look like when available.

Sorry Nick, group buys aren't allowed - unless that vendor becomes a vendor on here. I removed the price. Don't discuss the price on here, what you do in PM's is just fine though (or if you create a webpage with the price that is fine). This is similar to the calendar things we have done in the past.

I'm interested. It's bad enough that the housing is aluminum, that cover is pretty flimsy, too.

No we can't use D44 covers because the pattern is totally different.

I'd be interested in one eventually when I had the money. It'd be nice to have one that had like steel tubing on it or something like some of the diff guards I have seen. Even a heavy duty cover would be nice though

It would be from scratch, I would imagine something similar to that of what rock crusher makes...

Like I said I just need a idea for those generally interested, and any feedback would be good to see if there was enough pull for the idea. If there is I will update the thread with specs/pics.

I imagine it would be about like the Aussie locker production was... one big production run, and once all of the demand was met for 44A covers, there wouldn't be enough continuing demand to keep making them.

There would probably be enough demand for a few batches at most me thinks...

It wouldn't be a on-going production, just like any other product for the 44a.
