Intake Q

Hey guys, About how much hp would a intake gain, is 10 to 15hp out of the question?

a lot of aftermarket manufacturers claim that, but real world tests show little to no improvement. but then again this depends on the car itself and the operating environment.

10-15 isnt that much a gain to feel

A Dyno might notice it as well as a 1/4 clock, but you probably won't feel any difference and you'll probably notice a drop in MPG because it sounds cool to open it up more than usual.

That's what I've noticed when people try to get more HP.

What they said, but you'll get more of a gain if you have a V8 over the I6...Just like Woody said, drop in MPG and increase in noise from mine My Borla helped more them my FIPK did...almost put me back to where I was before the bigger tires.
