Instrument Cluster
I have a crack right down the middle of my instrument cluster and it is just one of those little things that has been bothering me. I saw a replacement on ebay, however, my question is that the one on ebay said it had 11,000 on it and my cracked one has 84,000. Would the miles on my Jeep not carry over to the replacement?

Although car manufacturers don't like to tell this, and they tell people otherwise, the cluster will retain the mileage from the vehicle it came out of, i.e. it will say your jeep only has 11k on it. Suposedly though, you can take it to the dealership and have it fixed, I don't know how happy they would be to do it though, but its worth a shot.

I replaced my cluster with an ebay one for similar reasons, and it retained my vehicle's mileage. I have a '96 with the digital odometer.
