Installing f<r Tomorrow!!!

The day has finally come to install my lift tomorrow. Hopefully things go relatively smoothly. I'll be sure to post pics when all is said and done. I've got plenty of PB Blaster, all the necessary tools (I think ), a buddy to help me out, 2-3 jacks, stands, a comfy garage, etc. Will there be anything specific I'll need that I might overlook?

I've got everything that my JKS quicker discos & track bar instructions list as needed.

Most of the commonly stubborn nuts/bolts/etc shouldn't be too seized since my BB was install less than a year ago, and Ken and I broke and replaced most of them. Unless the track bars decide to make my day a little more frustrating.

I've got all day tomorrow and Sunday to do the job right. A trial run will immediately follow completion of the project, which should be much more fun that the project itself. Finally, a very important picture will be taken during the run. Any tips or advice are much appreciated. Wish me luck!

Good luck! You went with JKS TB's, right? The only problem I had was with the body side on the front where you have to bore out the hole.

Yeah, JKS all the way man. Bore out the hole for the trackbar? The install notes comment on that. What problems did you run into?

Hum, thats odd. The stock bolt is conical in part and you have to make the conical hole more cylindrical for the normal bolt to go into it. I wonder why yours says not to drill the hole out...?

I should have said that it says you do have to drill the hole out. Sorry.

Haha, no worries. I started to doubt if I was thinking about the right thing from when I installed it.

It really isn't hard, but that was the hardest part.

I'm thinking I'll go ahead and do the front first, it seems to be more problematic. Then move to the rear when I get that buttoned up. Should I wait and do both TBs after all springs and SB links are in?

I'm working all weekend, I was hoping to have my axle in and working in it, but it won't be here until next week. Where are you going to test it? Best of luck to you, I'm sure it will be fine

For starters, I think we'll just run over to that little spot I took you to Ken. Unless my nephew knows of any better places. He knows every stretch of land out there for endless miles, so I'm sure well settle on a great piece of land to test it out on and get a little flexy. Thanks for the vote of confidence!
