Correct, there is just the 2 inner, no outer.

That looks similar to the one i am using on my right shaft (one pieced chromo'd hpd30 ex-disco ) but i am not familiar with your flavor of front axle so that might go in a different place on your application
Seal looks nice btw!

Last I looked on Napa they definitly had the outer seals for the rear axle didn't see a listing for the front inner seals though. I remember the parts guy actually finding one at the store for me though.

Anyways, just pull the seal from the front and see if this new one you got fits snug over the axle shaft and fits snug inside the axle tube. Make sure to seat it in square.

Not on a WJ where the CV boots prevent those seals from working...

The seal in the photo is what I used for my inner seals. Inside the diff. The flared design is supposed to help get the axles back in w/o f'n up the seal you just put in.

Its an inner seal, although is is different from the OE seal. That design might actually be better to help guide the axle back into the diff.

hi-jack... it says wj on the canister? they wont work on the wj?
