information center question

My 95 Jeep grand Cherokee has the all time 44.
On the information display center it does show that I am running on all 4 wheels but it says "lo" even though my lever is in the all time 44 mode? I'm just confused if its supposed to read "lo" or nothing at all while driving in all time 44

I don't think the Vic displays "all time" when you're in that mode, should just say "lo" when you're in lo. Probably something screwed up inside the Vic. Replace it with a 2wd ZJ cubby box and never look back.

My VIC only shows low. It shows nothing in all wheel drive.

You would know every time you turn the wheel if it was in low. If you hear and feel bangs and the steering binding on pavement you are in low.

If you were in Lo theres no way you could get up to the speed limit on any freeway. I think you would top out around 45.

I wouldn't replace the Vic. All it does is beep at you and tell you false information. IMO if you need a computer to tell you when to change your oil or what 4wd mode you're in, you shouldn't own a jeep.

There are threads on here about redoing cracked/cold solder joints to fix all that. I had 3 cracks and 2 cold joints in mine, redid the solder for each under a magnifying glass, everything works 100% again.
