Independence Day Flag- Help!

OK so heres my problem. As per tradition I would like to fly a full size flag on the back of my jeep for Independence Day. the problem is i cant figure out what would be the best way, this is my first WJ and all years before ive had a CJ or a TJ that i could just lash the flag to the rear bumper or roll bar. Any Ideas???

i just had a big cup in the cup holder, and wrapped the bottom of the pole with a rag and stuck it in there, and ran the flag out of the sun roof and put another rag where it hits the roof

thanks jeepheller but i dont have a sunroof either

i got up early this mornin, and with a little help from a friend of mine, we got the flag up. i used a 2 foot length of pvc i had layin around and some galvinized pipe strapping. mounted the strapping to the two tail light screws and and put the pvc thru them held in place by a couple of short self tapping screws. threaded a large bolt thru one side as a set screw to hold the flag in. works pretty darn good, just went to drop of my daughter at camp and it held strong. only problem is i cant open my liftgate anymore, back glass still opens tho.

Don't forget to secure the pole if you're going to drive like that.

That is an American flag , not a rebel flag.
