Immobilizer/Sentry key problems

Hi,
I have an ongoing problem with my Jeep.
The sentry key lights up in the dashboard
and says on when ignition is turned on.
The engine starts and dies out after 2secs.

It appears that my key is currupted.I live abroad
and no reputable Jeep dealers here.Jeeps customer
service are of no help.
Can I bypass the immo ilizer and how?
I have seen and orders a bypass module Uch2gx.
Will this do the job?
please help with solutions.

Thanks

Hi once again,
I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo(4X4),6 cylinder engine with 81 000 miles on the clock.
The immobilizer ID is 5WY7/00513 / Immobilizer 2.

There are four wires going into this unit as follows:

Yellow/black
Blue/white
Black/red
Pink

Reading some of the posts on this site with similar problems, some suggests breaking off the key and taping the transponder unit under the dash board.I peeled off the grey rubber head odf the key but found no white plastic holder with the transponder.Only a black headed key inside ?

The only available option to me is to do a bypass.Could anyone please tell me how to do this with the information provided above.

Thanks

you just need a new key. i havent heard of bypassing the system but you might be able to. to get a new key you can just buy one off of ebay and then get it programmed at a jeep dealer. but i guess thats a problem since there arent any where you live. try this site, they have great info:
