Idle Problems

Hey guys,
I have a 5.2l v8 and lately when im in gear or park idling she will only idle at 750 rpms. Which slowly drops to 500 then 250, then finally stalls out. However if I shift to neutral the rpms jump up. Any idea why and what I can do to fix it?

Clean the IAC sensor and see if that helps. There is a write up for that so you don't break it.

Okay thanks I will.
And I forgot to say. She tries to save herself and the entire car starts shaking as the idle gets lower and lower. She'll rev and shake like 3 or four times before she stalls.
Ill try to clean the iac next day I have off.

its the cable that goes from the throttle body to the transmission. It tells the transmission how much gas your giving the engine so it can be in the correct gear. Its got something to do with the pressure of the fluid in the trans i think
