Idle cycle

Any clues whats going on?

When I start up in the morning my Jeep cycles from 900-1400 RPM a few times then slowly revs to 400-800 for a minute. After a load (i.e. driving up the hill im my driveway) it maintains idle at ~600 or 700 rpm (no cycling, but a steady engine speed).

This has started happening for the last 3 days.

52000 miles, K&N Gen II, Due for an oil change this week (using natural oil - considering synthetic no leaks). Temp was 87 deg 65% humidity, 700 foot elevation, Barametric ~ 30.5" Hg (fair- partly cloudly day).

2000 WJ Limited: V8, QuadraTrac-II, Black with Camel leather.
Every option except 10 disk CD Changer.

Mods: K&N GenII Ram Air, Helix Powertower

Future Mods: HID level I High & Low beam, Larger Rims (undecided), Kenne Bell Supercharger (screw-type) with water injection kit (to prevent pre-detonation).
