i think my transfer case is stuck

ok the jeep 01 wj selec trac was in full time because we got some snow and the wifey was driving it. today the snow has melted and she was still driving in fulltime cause it was wet out (melting snow) and now that the streets are dry i put the tc into 2wd and i am still getting wheel scrub when i turn! whats up?
it feels like it got stuck in parttime or something

please help me!

Mine occasionally took a mile to unlock, but usually if I was rolling with the tranny in neutral when I put it in 2wd, it worked great. I did have to back up about 200 ft and throw the wheel to full lock while doing so once or twice, but it worked great all the time after that.

Other option, leave it in fulltime till spring. Won't hurt anything, gas mileage should be the same, and you'll have better grip.

so back up and crank the steering wheel to lock and that should do it?

All your tires the same size?

Mabye the linkage shifted and your still in 4wd.

I have had to back up a long ways and sometimes do the backing up in circles or pulling forward a fewtimes to get my old t-case out of 4 wheel

Check your linkage and fluid as well.

Mine shifted better with a new batch of ATF in the case.
