I worked in the resto/parts biz for Willy's flatfenders for a few years when i was younger.. this looks to be a typical NOS find. Worn box from getting lots of shelf mileage..

Sellers auction had four bearings, i got the last. Wonder if he has more.. i'll ask.

I ordered two of the bearings from the company that had the listing on ebay. "I NEED BEARINGS" phone number is 1800 409 3632. I talked to keith. A little over $7 each with $9 shipping. They are still available. Overland if you can get a number off of the thrust bearings these guys can probaly get them. The bearings have the lip according to keith.

I have been super busy with work but if i get the chance i will pull the worm shaft on the old steeting gear and see if i can find any numbers on the thrust bearing though i didnt see any on the thrust bearing in the gear i rebuilt over a year ago....

Bearing arrived yesterday... it's lipped. Now to order up an in/lb torque wrench.

Started tearing into a bad NP249 yesterday, needing to swap it's input/casehalf onto my early rebuilt/SYE'd NP242 so i can get that into my build.

Have a M&G i'd like to attend with this rig in a few weeks, hope to have it done.
