I need pitman shaft main bearing

My needle bearing the one that has a lip and the rebuildkit didn't come with this part

How can I source it

Damn they need a website update..

Tried calling, no answer.. i'll try again later.

Did you buy just a bearing kit or the entire rebuild kit?

The rebuild kits that come for the 96 and newer steering gears don't even contain bearings, its just a seal and ring kit, the 95 and older kits contain the non lipped sector shaft and stub shaft bearings but no thrust bearings. Guess the general assumption is the never steering gears still have good bearing where as the slightly older gears need new bearings????, logic escapes me on that one!

I'm in the process of sourcing the sector shaft bearing and have my feelers out at car quest the said they had a source and would call me back, that was almost a week ago, ya know how that goes, need to follow up, haven't had a chance to try Napa yet, been too busy working the job but will expedite!!!

I'm pretty sure it has a lip. Either way it'll work . Bh20-20 is the model number

I sent off an email yesterday to Red Head, theres a review here from someone who just installed one of their rebuilt units.

Asked if they offer a bearing or all inclusive rebuild kit, no reply as of yet. Mentioned the issue with finding the "lipped" bearing..

Yea they sent me one without a lip and it has more needles I think but it fit fine. I'm just worried because when I put in the nylon washer/upper seal it went in real right and also don't see how that stops leaks. Then the washer on after that.. But the retaining clip gap was 3/16" above the washer so the snap ring wouldn't even hold it together so I put in another washer and put the "dust boot" on the inside of the ring
