i'm swapping a 5.2 to 5.9, anything else i should do while its taken apart?

hey guys, i'm new to this forum, i tried searching but couldnt really find what i was looking for. i'm in the process of swapping a 5.9 into a 96 5.2, and i wanted to know if there was anything with these motors that usually dont get done that i should do while i have everything apart, anything at all that are buggers with these motors, anything that you can recommend. i dont really need help with the swap, i've done plenty before. just new to the chrysler/jeep motors and any quirks they might have.

Timing set, plenum gasket (upgrade to a Hughes or APS plate, or make your own), oil pump, and rod bearings if you're in the mood.

You won't find an easier time to pull the heads on the new motor and inspect the bores and valves. Cost you a set of head gaskets and precious time.
