Hpd30

Found a hpd30 from a 91xj. Kid said the.jeep had abs but theres no tone rings. Can I use my hub side shafts with.tone rings on this axle?.

1. pre 96 XJs have the smaller ujoint shafts
2. your d30 likely has cv halfshafts, unless you have swapped them out to ujoint shafts
3. tone rings can be removed from your current shafts and put on the new one. also, someone (iirc, randys ring and pinion) sells tone rings for in the $15 range.

You will also need to swap knuckles if you want to mount the abs sensor.

I have u.joint shafts. I dont use cv. I found another hp off a 96 at the jy..100 bucks. Has tone rings and everything. Ill go pull it tomorroe should take 2hrs lol
