how to tell if intake plenum is leaking?

I don't know how a healthy intake plenum should look inside to tell if it's bad or good. When I look into the plenum from the TB should the leak be obvious - i.e. oil sloshing around inside, or just a subtle film, or should it be totally bone dry?

All I know is mine had a somewhat oily film inside before I sprayed a can of Combustion Chamber Cleaner through the intake. I haven't looked lately but I will, after my wife drives home from work. There's an easy plenum gasket check outlined in TSB 09-05-00, and all you need is a vacuum/pressure gauge. Here's a link to the TSB http://dodgeram.info/tsb/2000/09-05-00.htm

BTW mine was OK, so I guess an oily film is alright...
