HOW TO TAKE ZJ REAR SHOCKS OFF!!!!! Help

5.9 andy and I need to remove rear shocks.... The tops are stuck on bad... What do we need to do...???????

What do you mean 'stuck on?' If you have the nut off the top stud and the bolt out through the bottom then just pound it off with a hammer (assuming you aren't reusing them).

we are reusing them and there isn't room for a hammer... We have the nuts off though...

take the bottom off and then just wiggle the top back and forth till it comes loose

You can use a pry bar to open the bracket too....

I always found it easier to take off the tire and lift up the jeep and set it on my knees and use 2 fingers to pull the bolt out...easy as pie.

wiggle and pb blaster is all you need.. sometimes help from a deadblow helps too... no need for a torch unless its a stock shock from 1989 or something ;-)
